Katherine Ann Sutton

Katherine Ann Sutton brings almost two decades of experience in digital marketing to clients who need senior-level strategic thinking, practical execution, and someone who can connect strategy to results.

During her 16+ years at REQ, she built her career alongside the agency — from employee #3 to SVP of Client Service & Operations. In that role, she led some of the firm’s largest and most complex client engagements, developing award-winning, fully integrated marketing strategies grounded in data, analytics, and performance measurement. She partnered closely with senior client stakeholders to align strategy, creativity, and execution, driving measurable improvements in visibility, reputation, and business growth.

Katherine Ann loves to figure out how all the puzzle pieces fit together in a truly integrated campaign - connecting paid, earned, and owned channels. She has worked with brands at every stage, from start-ups to established companies evolving their market presence, beginning with brand strategy and carrying it through identity, websites, and comprehensive go-to-market execution.

She has worked with clients from all over the world spanning many sectors including residential and commercial real estate, hospitality, finance, government, advocacy, and nonprofit. Empire State Realty Trust and the Empire State Building, Clark Construction, Dart, and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates were some of her longest standing client partnerships.

As a member of the leadership team at REQ, she was also deeply involved during a period of significant change, supporting four acquisitions, the agency’s own acquisition in 2023, and the subsequent integration of brands, services, and teams.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina (Go Cocks!) with a double major in management and marketing and a double minor in public relations and advertising. Being a DC native, she moved back after graduating and now lives in Vienna, VA with her husband, son, and two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering at her kids’ school, cheering them on at every sporting event, cooking, and exploring new restaurants.
